BRAND NEW Arm Shaft for the upper back panel gear drive of a Lincoln or Thunderbird Convertible, 1964-1967.
This is the steel shaft that inserts through the Upper Back Panel Gear Drive and mates with the Upper Back Panel Limit Switch.
These will commonly fail where they pass through the flat gear inside the gear drive. The steel surface on the original gear drive arm shaft rounds over, allowing the arm to slip inside the gear.
The old damage arm will be torched out, and this new one (HARDENED STEEL) welded into its place. This shaft is "KEYED" to fit into the "D" shape hole in the arm. A simple welding repair.
