  • 1966 1967 Lincoln Convertible Top Wiring Harness Set NEW C6VY-15B662-P

1966 1967 Lincoln Convertible Top Wiring Harness Set NEW C6VY-15B662-P

WHEN REPLACING YOUR TOP CLOTH, NEVER REUSE THE OLD WIRE HARNESS. IT IS SO BRITTLE FROM AGE, THAT THE WIRES WILL COMMONLY BREAK, causing failure of the top function and SIGNIFICANT cost of repair.
Up for sale is a brand new and complete set of convertible top wire harnesses for 1966 and 1967 Lincoln Convertibles. C6VY-15B662-P
These harnesses are mounted inside the right and left top pads of the convertible top, entering the trunk underneath the rear facing window.
The plug ends connect either inside the right and left forward corners of the top frame, or on the underside of the “package tray” underneath the rear facing window.

These wire harnesses have been professionally assembled, and have all the correct specifications; including wire gauge, correct colored plug ends, and correct wire looms and banding.

When installing be careful to properly match up the plug connections.

DO NOT EVER REUSE THE OLD HARNESSES ALREADY IN YOUR CAR. 50+ YEARS OF BENDING BACK AND FORTH AS THE TOP GOES UP AND DOWN WILL ULTIMATELY CAUSE THE WIRES TO BREAK and the top function to fail.

Feel free to call me if you have any questions, need help with your convertible top, or if you are trying to find parts for your Lincoln.

Brewer Classic Lincoln specializes in convertible top repair, parts and consulting. Our parts knowledge, expertise and extensive resource network, help assure a quick and confident resolution to your Lincoln Convertible top system repairs.

  • 1966 1967 Lincoln Rear Door Open Warning Switch DRIVER

1966 1967 Lincoln Rear Door Open Warning Switch DRIVER

This new reproduction door open warning switch is for 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 Continentals and Mark III’s and, 1970 Lincoln Mark III

    FOR DRIVER SIDE REAR ONLY.

In the convertible it controls the “Auto Drop” of the rear windows. When the latch is activated, the window will drop several inches to allow the window to clear the top cloth as it opens and also allows the vertical weather strip between the front and rear doors to separate sufficiently so that they do not interfere with each other as the door opens.

On non-convertible cars, this switch activates the courtesy lights as the door opens.

These commonly fail due to corrosion. Failure will cause the window not to auto drop and courtesy lights not to come on.

  • 1966 Lincoln 4-wire Turn Signal Relay NORS

1966 Lincoln 4-wire Turn Signal Relay NORS

This is a NEW OLD REPLACEMENT STOCK (NORS) 4-wire turn signal relay for your 1966. You will find this mounted on the driver side fender wall just below the master cylinder. Some cars use this relay and others use the 3-wire version. If yours uses the 4-wire version, this is the one you need. The wire colors on this relay are different than the original which had blue, yellow, white and brown wires), but it still works great exactly as it should. The second photo shows an original 4-wire turn signal relay.

Please send back your old relay so that I can re-build it to keep another 66 Lincoln on the road.

    Thanks!

  • 1967 Lincoln Neutral Safety Switch

    1967 Lincoln Neutral Safety Switch

For sale is a neutral safety switch which properly fits and works for 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966* and 1967 Lincolns.

    * For 1966 Lincolns, this does not work for cars with tilt steering.
1961, 1962 and 1963 cars do not have vacuum release parking brake, so you do not connect any vacuum hoses to the vacuum nipples on this part.

For 1964 and 1965 Lincolns, just plug it in.

1966 Lincolns require use only of the vacuum brake release nipples, so there is no body wire harness connection.

1967 Lincolns require an additional wire harness which can be purchased in another one of my auctions. See “1967 Lincoln neutral safety switch wire harness”.

    Call if you have questions.
